The job
As a Working Depot Supervisor, you combine technical expertise with coordination. You ensure that our machines are ready for rental on time and in perfect condition while supporting the day-to-day operations of the depot.
Your responsibilities include:
Performing maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on forklifts, aerial work platforms, telehandlers and scissor lifts.
Planning daily activities and allocating repair work within the team.
Monitoring the progress of repairs and ensuring the schedule is respected.
Ordering spare parts and ensuring they are available on time.
Supporting a team of five machine inspectors/technicians and acting as their first point of contact on the workshop floor.
Keeping the depot organised, safe and efficient.
Combining approximately two-thirds technical work with one-third planning, administration and coordination.
Working closely with the Depot Manager and actively contributing to the efficient operation of the depot.
Your profile
You have a technical education or equivalent experience.
You have experience in the machine rental industry, material handling, construction equipment or agricultural machinery.
You understand how a rental business operates and feel at home in a technical environment.
You are well organised and enjoy planning and administrative follow-up.
You communicate easily with colleagues and know how to motivate and guide people in a positive way.
You are hands-on, take initiative and keep an overview, even during busy periods.
You have strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
