As a Diagnostic Technician, you are the specialist who digs deep into technical issues. You analyse, test and repair electrical, electronic, thermal and hydraulic systems on equipment such as forklifts, aerial work platforms, scissor lifts and telehandlers.
Interpret complex work orders, schematics and technical documentation.
Establish accurate diagnoses based on your experience, observations and the use of testing and diagnostic equipment.
Perform a wide variety of repairs on electrical, electronic, thermal and hydraulic components.
Carry out calibrations, parameter settings and safety tests.
Install accessories and peripheral equipment, and install or test new software.
Complete the administrative follow-up of your work orders.
Advise colleagues and customers on technical issues and possible solutions.
Support less experienced colleagues and share new techniques and insights.
Work independently and safely in a clean and well-organised workshop.
In short, you ensure that our machines leave the workshop in top condition, provide technical support to colleagues and serve as a trusted expert within the team.
You hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical field (automotive mechanics, electromechanics, automotive technology, electronics, etc.) or have equivalent experience.
You can confidently read and use electrical schematics, technical drawings and diagnostic systems.
You have in-depth knowledge of electrical systems and/or internal combustion engines.
You also have a solid foundation in hydraulics and a good understanding of internal combustion engines.
You are comfortable working with both manual measuring tools and advanced diagnostic equipment.
You can analyse technical documentation, combine machine measurements and observations with information from diagnostic tools, and use this information to establish accurate diagnoses.
You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar technical role.
You enjoy working independently while also supporting and guiding colleagues.
You communicate clearly and maintain a customer-focused approach.
You are fluent in Dutch or French, and knowledge of English is an additional asset for analysing technical documentation related to our machines.
