What do you do as a Field Service Technician?
As a Field Service Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of mainly electric forklifts, complemented by other internal transport equipment such as aerial work platforms and small material handling equipment.
Concretely, this means you:
Perform preventive maintenance on electric forklifts
Analyze and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and electrical breakdowns
Carry out repairs at customer sites in West Flanders
Correctly complete work orders and service reports administratively
In the morning, you leave directly for your first customer. Your service van is restocked overnight, so you can start your working day efficiently and fully prepared.
You work independently in the field while staying in close contact with our dispatchers who coordinate your schedule. Thanks to your technical expertise and customer-oriented approach, you ensure excellent service and satisfied customers.
Your profile
You have a technical education (electromechanics, automotive mechanics or equivalent through experience).
You have a basic to good knowledge of electricity (experience with electric drives or battery systems is a strong asset).
Affinity with combustion engines is a plus.
You work independently, solution-oriented and customer-focused.
You are flexible and eager to learn.
You hold a valid driver’s license B.
You speak fluent Dutch (basic knowledge of French or English is an asset).
