What do you do as a Field Service Technician?
As a Field Service Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance and repairs of forklifts within your area of expertise (electric or internal combustion), complemented by other material handling equipment such as aerial work platforms and small handling equipment.
Concretely, this means you:
Perform preventive maintenance on the assigned fleet
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues
Carry out repairs at customer sites in West Flanders
Correctly complete work orders and service reports
You leave in the morning directly for your first customer. Your service van is restocked overnight, ensuring you can start your day efficiently and well prepared.
You work independently in the field while staying in close contact with our dispatch team who coordinates your schedule. Thanks to your technical expertise and customer-focused approach, you ensure excellent service and satisfied customers.
Your profile
You have a technical education (electromechanics, automotive mechanics or equivalent through experience).
You have a basic to good knowledge of electricity (experience with electric drives or battery systems is a strong asset).
Affinity with combustion engines is a plus.
You work independently, solution-oriented and customer-focused.
You are flexible and eager to learn.
You hold a valid driver’s license B.
You speak fluent Dutch (basic knowledge of French or English is an asset).
