Rentalift in Izegem is looking for a driven technician for electrical and mechanical repairs on various machines such as forklifts, aerial platforms, telehandlers, and scissor lifts.
Your responsibilities
You will perform an initial diagnosis to assess the condition of the equipment.
You will inspect machines using test and diagnostic equipment.
Any potential defects and wear should be reported to the responsible person.
Maintenance work will be carried out according to the work order.
You will check both electrical and mechanical components.
You will maintain electrical motors and various electronic and electrical parts, such as electric motors, controllers, contactors, and sensors.
You will receive and store orders in the warehouse.
You will ensure order and cleanliness in the warehouse.
You will perform breakdown repairs and maintenance at customer sites.
You will provide user instructions on the machines to customers.
Telephone technical support to customers will also be part of your responsibilities.
Your profile
We are looking for passionate individuals with a love for machines. Whether you have a secondary vocational diploma in Automotive Technology or Electromechanics, or comparable experience, we would like to meet you.
Do you have experience with our machines, agricultural vehicles, buses, or trucks? Great! Even if you have limited experience, we encourage you to apply.
What we value:
You can work with test and diagnostic equipment and understand technical diagrams.
Knowledge of components such as electric motors and sensors is a plus, but we are open to anyone willing to learn.
You speak and write excellent Dutch.
Do you have a forklift, aerial platform, or BE license? That’s an advantage, but not a requirement.
