Do you have a strong technical background, an eye for detail, and are you fluent in both Dutch and French? Then this position is for you!
We are looking for an Assistant Field Service Dispatcher to strengthen our team in Nivelles. In this role, you check the service reports completed by our field service technicians and ensure that all work carried out is described accurately and completely before the reports are forwarded to the invoicing department. You are also responsible for managing spare parts and technical orders.
You are part of the Field Service team and work closely with technicians across Belgium.
After each intervention, our field service technicians record the work they have carried out at the customer's site in the system. You will check these service reports before they are forwarded to the invoicing department.
You check whether the work carried out is described logically and completely in each service report.
Thanks to your technical knowledge, you identify inconsistencies, errors or missing information. For example, has a maintenance service been carried out without any mention of an oil change? You contact the technician to clarify the situation and ensure that the service report is amended if necessary.
You check approximately 110 service reports per day from technicians working in both Flanders and Wallonia.
In addition to checking service reports, you are responsible for managing spare parts and technical orders.
Spare parts management: You process requests and monitor parts availability to ensure that technicians have the components they need.
Technical orders: You identify and order technical parts and follow up on orders with suppliers and brands such as Doosan, Still, Manitou and JLG.
Planning and coordination: You coordinate daily with the Field Service Dispatcher to determine which parts are required for planned and upcoming interventions.
Telephone contact: You maintain regular contact with technicians and suppliers to answer questions and coordinate practical matters.
You have a strong technical background, acquired through education or experience in electromechanics, automotive mechanics or a similar technical field.
You understand maintenance and repair work and can assess whether the information recorded in a service report is logical and complete.
You work accurately and systematically, with a keen eye for detail.
You think critically, identify irregularities and are not afraid to ask questions when something does not seem right.
You communicate fluently and professionally in both Dutch and French, as you will work with technicians throughout Belgium.
You enjoy working independently while also being a team player.
You are stress-resistant, solution-oriented and proactive in ensuring that tasks are completed correctly.
A permanent employment contract.
12 paid additional leave days (ADV).
Flexible working hours, with a start time between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
Numerous training and career development opportunities.
Hospitalisation insurance and group insurance.
Meal vouchers worth €10 per day worked.
The possibility of bicycle leasing.
A flexible working time system of up to 16 hours.
A collective bonus under Belgian CBA No. 90.
